Hey y’all, it’s me, Rayshone Phillips! I am so grateful you want to learn a little more about little ole me. Lol. When I graduated from cosmetology school in 2002, I thought I had to offer every service I learned! Can you relate? I didn’t want to “miss out on money”. But in reality, you can’t miss money you never had to begin with. As time passed, I learned that in order to make more money, I had to niche down so I could stand out as a stylist. 

 

My initial plan was to use the money I made as a Cosmetologist  to take care of my family, while student loans financed my college career to become a Pharmacist. I completed 2 years of prerequisites for pharmacy school, got accepted at Northeastern Ohio College of Medicine and Pharmacy and then... 

 

In 2010, I dropped out of pharmacy school! Yup, I dropped out. I am an extravert and I was going crazy behind that counter. I went back to school and completed my bachelors of science at Youngstown State University.

When I first finished hair school, I had a very basic understanding of hair care let alone scalp care. When I finished my bachelors of science, babyyy, I knew as much about the scalp as a Trichologist and for damn sure knew more about the hair.

I spent these last 20 years failing, succeeding, and learning how to value myself as stylists while helping clients with their scalp care concerns. Now, I am prepared to share the scalp care secrets that add value and help Cosmetologists incorporate scalp care services into their salon so they generate higher revenues.

In this Online Virtual 6 week course, I will teach you the science behind scalp care as well as how to apply that knowledge, as I plan to do for dozens of salons this year.
